PO Monthly Digest January 2026

VBR

• Over 50 practices completed their physician level and practice level learning community requirements by the 1/1/2026 deadline, earning 5 points extra credit.
• The specialist VBR year is ending, with final scores due to BCBSM in early January and a new VBR year beginning on 3/1/2026. Updated scorecards for the new VBR year will be shared by the end of January.

Events & Meetings

• The 2026 Learning Community Event Schedule is nearly finalized and will be shared in early January, with registration to open by the end of the month.
• MCT2D is hosting both the Advocacy Workgroup (Friday, 1/16/26 at 1pm) and EMR Workgroup (Thursday, 1/15/26 at 10am) in January. Please reach out if you are interested in attending either.

PO Scorecard

• PO Small Group calls are being scheduled for February. Potential dates were emailed to each group in late December, with a response due on 1/9/2025. Calls will be scheduled shortly afterwards, and we will share the discussion topics with you in advance.
• Reminder: One of the PO scorecard requirements this year is to host a meeting with your clinical champions where you discuss the performance measures, the changes that your practices are incorporating to meet these measures, and the support that your PO and MCT2D can provide, as well as go over MCT2D requirements and upcoming events. To receive credit, once the meeting has occurred please email MCT2D the meeting date and time, as well as the meeting agenda.

Dashboard

• Performance measure visualizations have been included in the MCT2D Patient Data Dashboard as of the update on 12/19/2025. Data on the dashboard is now through 10/31/2025.
• The next MCT2D Patient Data Dashboard update will take place on 1/30/2026 and include data through 11/30/2025.
